Irina Sbitneva, PhD in Chemistry - married to a Dutch man she
met online.
 Irina was born in Siberia (Irkutsk) and moved to Moscow for her study. In
Moscow she was working as a scientist in the Research Institute for
Immunology.
In 2000 she married a Dutch man (who happens to be me) and from the moment
she moved to The Netherlands she started to help other Russian women in
finding a western man.
First as a hobby, now Irina is operating a professional
information site
about Russian women Romance.
Irina is one of the many women who succeeded in finding a foreign husband,
but also succeeded with ease to adopt herself in a totally (for her)
strange country. She speaks the language very well (has an official degree
in the Dutch language), has a lot of new friends (including some Russian
friends who also live close) and spends a lot of time in corresponding
with foreign men who are visiting her site for advise and information
about dating and marrying a Russian woman.
I also like to mention that thanks to Elena Petrova, Irina and her husband
succeeded in a successful meeting with each other. Today, Irina and Bart
(her husband) have regular contact with the other 'famous' former Russian
